Luke 9:46-48

Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great." Luke 9:46-48

For my personal daily devotions, I like to pick a new book of the Bible at the beginning of each month. This month, I'm reading the book of Luke.
Friday afternoon, I was given my new assignment for next year as an instructional assistant. It didn't turn out as I expected. I was upset because I felt it's not challenging me regarding my level of education, BA Elementary Ed. (K-6 certified) and having my Master's degree in art education (certified art K-12). I cried. A lot. It was a very long and frustrating evening. I did not sleep well that night.
Saturday morning, on the 9th, I read Luke chapter 9. It smacked me in the face. God's timing is perfect. I now have a new perspective and pray I can be used by God in this child's life.
